Worship

The worship of God is at the heart of the church's life; it is as we open ourselves to God's Loving Spirit and the example of Jesus that we are inspired and strengthened to serve our neighbour and pray for our world.

Sundays

Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m.

Worship for all ages. Children and young people share in the first part of worship and then move to the hall for their own activities. There is a strong sense of fellowship, a warm welcome and a focus on the Gospel's relevance for today.

The service includes the sacrament of Holy Communion on first Sundays of the month. The service is followed by coffee and fellowship in the Abbey Hall on second Sundays of the month.

Evening Worship at 6.30 p.m.

A more reflective service, evening worship includes the sacrament of Holy Communion on third Sundays of the month.

Tuesdays

Prayer meeting at 9.30 a.m.

Half hour to pray for the needs of individuals and the world. Meetings are held in the vestry of the Church.

Thursdays

Short Service of Holy Communion at 10.30 a.m.

A short service, open to all, in the relaxed surroundings of the Abbey Hall Lounge. Held on second Thursdays of the month, it especially serves those who find it difficult to get to church on a Sunday. It is followed by refreshments.
