Crèche
A crèche for babies and toddlers is available in our new Rainbow Room during morning worship at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday activities
Children, 4 and upwards meet on Sunday mornings between 10:30 and 11:30. They join the congregation for the start of the service and move to the hall for their own activities. They learn Bible stories and Christian values while having fun. They are known as Pilots which is a Christian organisation for young people sponsored by the United Reformed Church. Each year we support a registered charity. This year we are supporting the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. We have held a number of events including a very successful sponsored walk. In September we are having a stall in the Market Place and hope to fill the picture of a helicopter with the coins. The last fundraising event of the year is a Quiz Night, planned for 17 October in the Abbey Hall.
Other activities
Every year we run 2 Fun Clubs, one at Easter and the other during the Summer Holidays. We take children between the ages of 4 and 8. The activities are mainly craft based with a story time and games as well.
